CADA Symposium

CADA Symposium

What is CADA?

CADA stands for C-CLEAR ARIES Doctoral Alliance, and is a partnership between the Cambridge NERC DTP and  ARIES to deliver a joint training and symposium event once a year in the Spring.

One day of the symposium is dedicated to student presentations, in poster and oral format. This allows our students to experience presenting their work to a large audience of peers as well as experience the wide range of research taking place across our partnership. Representatives from our Partner Organisations are invited to attend, and the symposium represents an exciting yet safe space to practise presentation skills and networking.

One day of the symposium is dedicated to student training. In the past the examples of the training we have offered are:

Infographics with Moore Fuller Consulting

Science Communication with Natural History Museum

Media Training with MediaPro and the BBC

Innovation Training with Hethel ThinkBig

Science and Policy with CSAP

Behind the Scenes with the Experts at the Natural History Museum

In addition we provide space for social activities and informal networking.

The next CADA event will be at the London Natural History Museum on 30th & 31st March 2023
